How can we help you?
A pneumatic diaphragm pump, also called double diaphragm pump, is a type of positive displacement pump that moves fluids by using the action of flexible membranes and a check valve to move fluids efficiently. It's commonly used for pump fluids and slurries. The design of pneumatic diaphragm pumps makes it ideal for handling fluids containing solid particles or viscous substances.
ARO air operated double diaphragm pumps (AODD pumps) are designed for general fluid transfer and has as power source compressed air. Our pumps reliably transfer a wide variety of fluids, from clean, light viscosity to medium viscosity. They can transfer large particles without damage and run dry.
Metal or plastic pump casings can easily handle corrosive and abrasive fluids. Most ARO diaphragm pumps are ATEX certified (CE Ex11 2GD X).
ARO pneumatic diaphragm pumps are designed to perform reliably, even in the toughest environments.
Key Features:
ARO double diaphragm pumps are available with many flow rates and sizes, allowing you to vary the flow outlet and discharge pressure. Our pumps can run as slow as 0.26 gallons (1 liter) per minute and up to 275 gallons (1079 liters) per minute for larger pump sizes. Adjust fluid pressure up to 125 p.si. (8.6 bar) by using an air filter/regulator and a needle valve.
Each ARO pneumatic pump can be customized for your fluid transfer needs. Choose from a wide range of diaphragm materials, casing options and accessories. Find metal or plastic fluid sections and housings that can handle any fluid, including corrosives and abrasive.
Each type of diaphragm pump has its own advantages and disadvantages, so it's important to consider the specific requirements of your application when selecting a pump.
